The 76th Edition of the Christmas Candlelight Service (Angels We Have Heard) will be celebrated on Sunday at 7:00 pm.

Gabriel's greeting confounded, troubled and frightened Mary. Was his news good news or bad news? On the one hand an unexpected pregnancy could certainly throw some cold water on the hopes and dreams of a young virgin. On the other hand, Gabriel's promise about a son who would be called Yeshua (Yah Saves) and Son of the Most High and who would reign on David's throne forever might sound pretty good to a young woman living in a fallen world under foreign oppression. Perhaps angel messages, God's messages, are often like that: good news for us and for all people, but not without their inconveniences.

Saturday is the last chance for Saturday evening Praise service this year!
